What’s Up w/Stocks, Cryptos, Gold & Silver? June 8th, 2026

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. And so last week the historic nine-week winning streak stocks were on, the longest in over forty years, came to an end. We ended the week with a rapid two-day selloff of the top performing AI-related tech names, with a rotation into sectors, like financials that hadn’t participated in the massive rally this year. Importantly, however, while many of the highflyers are in correction mode, what isn’t lost is the narrative. The AI economic boom is here, and last week’s uber impressive jobs reports only served to emphasize this.
