What's wrong with you? Nothing! (aka living on the autopilot) - Kenny Kiefer #11

from Being the Genuine Athlete · host Jure Koscak

Kenny is an amazing musician with a difficult past. He went through shit and came out on the other side like a star. We touched on his digestive issues, chronic tension and stress, headaches, pain and how all of this turned into a nightmare of anxiety, panic attacks and just pure hell living. To top it off, Kenny was lost in addiction, escaping the reality and further on dysregulating his system. He found solutions. First through naturopathy and therapy on trauma and addictions. Then he found me and the AEQ method. This is our story:  He found me through the Innovative Medicine podcast by Caspar Szulc where I was a guest. Kenny needed this body approach, after trying therapy on the mind side for some years. Slowly going into his whole body through interoception. Feeling and acknowledging sensations in his own body. Finally, down from the mind and into the body he says. He understood immediately that this is not a quick fix approach. So he committed and devoted himself to the AEQ exercises.  Being a part of the men's group, Kenny connected the dots as father as well. The AEQ method helps him to express vulnerability, emotions and unconditional love to his 4 year old son. Something that many men fight and deal with, the lack of fatherly love. Explanations and feelings give him the ability to change his behaviour from being absent, aggressive, detached, dysregulated, into presence, high attention and focus.  He also changed his lifestyle from ego driven chasing fame to a family guy. Now he creates music on his own terms and especially as a gift for people. Emitting emotional stability and growing together with his wife. Having more energy for creativity and life in general. Kenny is slowly getting the reins of life in his own hands. Thank you for being an exemplary client of the AEQ method and Jure.  03:03 Where did you find me?  04:00 What was attracting you to Jure?  04:31 How did you feel and get this first experience and connect the feelings in the body?  05:19 Why is this not marketing and how would you confirm that these results do happen? 07:24 What was your life like before from 1 to 10 with a panic attack, anxiety, being in the mind?  10:11 How did you start that journey of self healing, past, traumas, addictions? 16:06 How were your first experiences with the AEQ method and feeling your body in depth?
