In this episode, I’m joined by a mom of two who experienced two hospital births after initially planning a home birth with her first. Her story is a beautiful reminder that being prepared and surrendering are not opposites. We talk about educating yourself, advocating for yourself, and having a vision for your birth while ultimately trusting that God already knows how each of our babies will be born. Sometimes our plans change, but that doesn’t mean our birth story is a failure. We can prepare, learn, and make informed choices while still surrendering the outcome to God.
