When Discipline Becomes Grace

Love and discipline – two words that we rarely, if ever, put together. We crave love's warmth but flinch from discipline's sting. Yet real love isn't soft – it's strong enough to confront that which harms us. A parent who never corrects isn't loving; they're neglectful. In the same way, God's discipline isn't rejection – it's restoration. The book of Revelation in the New Testament feels somewhat strange.
