When People Disappoint Us

Featuring Attachment Style: let's be clear you can not live in this world without disappointment. But not all disappointment is equal, and some forms of disappointment cause heavy tension and usually a breakdown in a relationship, but it doesn't have to. I want you to know that you can predict dissatisfaction from many people in your life by their behaviour. I am not saying that people can not change, but many people practice not being self-aware, so they change and not transform. So remember that transformation trumps change. I will do a podcast diving into attachment style, but right now, this is dealing with people who disappoint you. You can not avoid disappointment, but you can make allowances for it. I tell a quick story about how I was left holding a bag in a situation, but I pulled through because I know this person's character, and I know they give up super easy.
