When we are invited to be Peacemakers and Bearers of His Love

Fr Prabhu draws three meaningful life lessons from today’s readings. Firstly, we are called to be discerning disciples, cultivating spiritual clarity so that we can help others encounter Christ without weighing them down with unnecessary rules or burdens. Secondly, like Christ who offered his disciples the gift of Peace and the presence of the Holy Spirit, we too are invited to be peacemakers — keeping Christ at the heart of our lives, while being patient, encouraging companions to those around us. Lastly, as the Church, with Christ as the Lamb and our light, we are called to be Christ-bearers of his love, radiating his presence and helping others discover the peaceful, transformative love of Jesus.- Sunday Homily by Fr Antony Prabhu, C.Ss.R.
