Who do you want to punish? To teach a lesson to?

And, what have we done that we deserve to be punished? Most of us harbor some sense of vengeance, some sense that there are people who should be punished. How is that working for you? Does holding a grudge feel lighter or heavier than forgiving? It's heavier, right? But what about sex traffickers, modern-day slave traders, war mongers, war criminals, rapists, racists, Billionaires, parents, children? We use punishment to be safe and to control our lives. Ultimately, we want to be the ones who bless rather than the ones who punish. Could we allow ourselves to be completely safe and peaceful, and then use our common sense to do what we need to do on the material plane of life?
