Finding Peace in the Middle East at the level of Pure Truth
There is a place deep within each one of us - a place of complete Truth. We can only experience this level of Truth when we let go of all our attachments and aversions, our fears and judgements and self righteousness. In Sanskrit this level of Truth is call Rittam Bhara Pragya - meaning "Truth, Unalloyed Truth." In this space, and thought or impulse we have automatically becomes true. For us to find Peace in the Middle East, we need to go to this level of Truth and gently offer our thought or desire to let it become True.

Food and Sex: our last attachments
Most people think sex is our last and deepest attachment, but really, it is our attachment to food that is our last attachment to be healed. Imagine a life where food is simply something we eat to survive, rather than living to eat. Can you see how much freedom there is once we let go of our attachment to eating? How much more energy would you have, how much health would you have, if we ate in such a way as to support our lives rather than stuff our feelings by overeating?

Inquiring about Dharma, Duty and Desires
We explore the energy of Dharma and duty while living in a desire-based world. Do we live to fulfill our desires, or live to fulfill our purpose? If we ask our minds if they know what our purpose is, our minds do not have an answer. Our minds may have theories, but purpose is beyond the scope of the mind. When we can live in our hearts, our deep desires - our deep longings - are aligned with our mind's desires. We start to live in alignment with Purpose and experience the Flow in life we all know is possible.

Are we not at war with them? In this session, we dive into war and violence, and heal our attachments and aversions until we are living in Peace whether we have war or not... and this is the place where we have the most influence in the world as to whether we have War or Peace.

Developing Influence and Power
Do we have more influence on the world, or does the world have more influence on us? Influence is another word for power, and this topic brought up deep wounds, especially in women who have been steamrolled by men and the patriarchal power structure of our culture. More: Who are the influencers in our lives? The great influencers bring wonderful new gifts and ideas to us, but what about the negative influencers? How do you feel about pushy salespeople? How do you feel about asking for things from your family, friends, or strangers? Do we live from our conditioning, or from the deep Wisdom of our Hearts?

Healing our feelings about Government and Power
How do you feel about our government? Or about any government? How do you feel about the power the government has? It's not that government is all bad - we all want roads and fire departments and so many other great things the government provides or helps with. But we all know of the abuses of power as well. In this session, we bring up that energy and heal it. Wouldn't you rather live from love than from fear?

Loving Our Bodies
We know that loving our minds quiets them. When our minds are in reactive mode, we are flooded with thoughts. The same is true of our body - but when our body reacts, we feel sensations, pain, and feelings. Our job is to love the body and all its reactions. This quiets the body, and then we can experience the depth of our hearts, our souls, our pure awareness. We don't want to suppress thoughts and feelings; we want to love them so much our hearts expand into the fullness of love.

Who will help you?
How to "tap" into Cosmic Beings and Spiritual guides to assist in fulfilling our goals and intentions. We quickly discover that our connection with the Divine is far more important than the fulfillment of goals. Connection is created through intention, and especially by asking from the deepest levels of our hearts rather than trying to connect with our minds. It helps to let go of our attachments and aversions to the Divine Beings - then the door is open for Divine Connection.

The emphasis on gratitude and presence sets the tone for meaningful interactions as the holidays approach.

Gratitude for those who trigger us
We've all been triggered, right? We blame the people who trigger us, but that doesn't really help. I encourage us all to use being triggered as a spiritual practice where we own our own responsibility for being triggered, and then look to see where we have triggered other people in our lives. We want to move to where we have compassion and gratitude for those who trigger us, and ask forgiveness for those we have triggered.
-

Letting go of the belief that we must grow old and die
Somehow it feels impossible - even wrong, a violation of Natural Law - to reverse aging and live a healthy, vibrant life no matter how old we are. But virtually every ancient tradition has stories similar to the longevity of the Patriarchs. In this cleanup/meditation, we soften and let go of the cultural and DNA-supported beliefs that we must grow old, get sick, and then die in our eighties or even as centarians.

145
Heaven and Hell - Heart and Mind
Heaven and Hell are such wonderfully charged topics. Even if we have dismissed them as stories to instill fear and promote obedience, they still lurk in our subconscious. We invite these concepts to our conscious mind and release them by exploring our attachments and aversions to them. Underneath all of this is the Fear of Death, which becomes lighter and lighter the more we explore these energies.

144
Do you love being Manipulated?
When have you been manipulated? By a person or by the Media, the Gov't, etc? It happens to all of us, and our reactions are perfectly normal. We say "yes" when we want to say "no", and then blame the other person or organization. How about trying something different? The Path of the Heart gives us an alternative. And if we're the ones who have been manipulating, we explore why we do that and why it is so much more satisfying to lead by inspiration rather than manipulation. The Q & A at the end is very deep.

143
Seeing your life with the Eyes of your Heart
What has been the best part of your life? The worst part? What is your purpose in life? If we look at life through the eyes of the mind/ego, we get drama and trauma - and sometimes peak experiences that don't last. If we look at life through the Eyes of our Hearts, we can let go of the stories that run our lives. We can move into that state where we see our purpose as loving whatever is in front of us, or connecting to the Vastness of our Hearts and Souls. How do you want to live?

How to Overcome our Resistance to Enlightenment
If we didn't have resistance to becoming enlightened, we'd already be enlightened. If we think of being All-Loving, part of us is afraid people will take advantage of us, or we will become the world's caretaker. If we think of being All Powerful, what resistance comes up for you? If we awaken, what happens to our bucket list? What happens to our family and friends? These are all deep resistances, hidden in our mind and ego. Let's love them and heal them so we can step freely into Totality and Freedom.

Love is different in different states of realization.
Consider the pain of not being loved, and the joy of loving. What is the difference in your experience? As we progress on the spiritual path, we move to the experience of loving the Divine ... and then being the Beloved of the One. Love is different in different states of realization. Eventually, we become so expanded and loving that we can absorb the world's suffering as energy, purify it, and let it return to its source without harm or danger. Love becomes the way we purify the world and become One with Totality.

-

-
133
Exploring Genocide Through the Heart's Lens
How do you feel about Genocide? How do we love those who murder millions of souls? Or would you rather continue to hate them? How well has that worked for you and for humanity? Can we have compassion for those who have been murdered simply because they were Armenian (Turks), Ukrainian (Stalin), Chinese (Japan), Jewish (Hitler), Croatian/Serbian, Rwandan, Syrian, Palestinian? We want to experience that this falls into the unfathomable realm of Karma - it is beyond the realm of our mind's understanding. Our best strategy is to see with the eyes of the Heart while we live according to the Dharma of our times ... which is to protect and resist that which is not Dharma, or right action.

132

Overcoming the Three Temptations to find our purpose in life.
To finish the series on the Kingdom of Heaven parables, Steven Winn points out that Jesus could not begin his ministry until he had overcome the Three Temptations. These deep desires - wanting to be loved and respected, wanting power or control, and wanting to be safe and secure - are the operating principles of our mind and ego. They are part of us, and not our enemy. Using willpower to change them is pointless; only love will draw them in and tame them so we can fulfill our Divine Plan.

Is enlightenment the state of permanent transcendence, or must it also include the Divine Qualities of our Hearts?
