Miles is a professional and technical writing instructor and consultant. He teaches at the University of California, Davis, and also works with a variety of consulting clients, ranging from financial institutions to local, state, and federal agencies. He received his MFA from the University of Southern California and makes his home in Sacramento, California with his wife and daughter.
