Instead of just focusing on the action, the doing, and the exploits in our city, we are focused on our foundation–our identity. What good is knowing our destiny and purpose without having the identity to carry it out? Jesus taught his disciples this lesson, and as his students, we must catch this, too. There is joy that comes with knowing who we are.
