Who Said The Christian Life Would Be Easy?

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you.  We will be in 2 Corinthians 6 today. If you become a Christian, praise God for that!!! But don’t think for a second that life will all be sunshine and roses. Paul warns us that part of being a Christian means being in uncomfortable situations. You might be insulted, physically assaulted, stolen from, cut off in traffic, or wronged in some other way. Our natural instinct is to retaliate, seek revenge, or get even. But Jesus teaches us to turn the other cheek, forgive graciously, and leave the door open for the opportunity for the Gospel to be presented. It’s not going to be easy, you may be persecuted, or you may even be killed, but what an honor it would be to suffer and die for our Savior.“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.You can reach us at facebook.com/highlandsouthernbc.
