Who won the Macro(-economics) war?

Analysts in the US are now beginning to say that the battle against inflation has been won. Economist and blogger Noah Smith recently asked so who won the macroeconomics war? In other words, who was right about the causes of inflation and the policy to fight it. He gives points and I want to summarize his story. This episode is supported by the NWU Business School.
