Episode 57. Who Would Win: Big Boachie or Children's Author Jerry Pallotta.... it's an inside joke, you'll get it after you watch the episode. We were pumped to have one of the top children's authors (for non-fiction science books) in the country, Jerry Pallotta, up to GDP Headquarters. For those who don't know: Jerry is a children's author with a career spanning over 30 years, and he is originally from Medford/Scituate. In the 90's he was known as "The Alphabet Man" because of his widely popular Alphabet Books. Since then, he created a HUGE (over 15 million copies sold) series, called the "Who Would Win?" Series, which is now published by Scholastic. Jerry's career is interesting because of his entrepreneurial nature, which is not common for a children's author. Jerry also happens to be a client of big GDP (so we may sound bias over here...). It was a dope episode and we chopped it up about big breaks in his career, finding open space in the literature market, the most dangerous animals, and touring hundreds of schools a year.
