As an entrepreneur, one of your main responsibilities is to generate new business. Even though you may speak to a lot of people, not everyone will convert into a sale. While it may be frustrating to lose a potential opportunity, it isn’t something to feel bad about. In today’s episode, host May Yeo Silvers discusses a few reasons why your leads may be ghosting you. According to May, the main reason why leads drop off is that you are unable to provide them with what they are looking for. To increase your conversion rate, it is important to follow up. Whether it be text, calls, or emails, it is your responsibility to reach out and make sure that the prospect clearly understands your proposal. When you are on the same page, they are more likely to work with you. But at the end of the day, sometimes the lead isn’t your ideal client, and that’s okay! It’s just not meant to be.  Tune into this week’s episode of The Unstoppable Eventrepreneur™ to learn more about the importance of following up, having a clear proposal and better qualifying your leads so you can convert more inquiries into paying customers.    Quotes • “Don't waste your energy on thinking that you lost a sale. You didn't lose the sale, you just didn't close the sale.” (02:03-02:10) • “One of the fundamental rules about sending a proposal is after you send it, you need to make sure that you call, text, email, or whatever you need to do to make sure that they receive your proposal.” (03:45-03:57)  • “It's your responsibility to follow up on them, it's not their responsibility to get back to you.” (04:22-04:28) • “A lot of times ghosting only happens when you are not giving them what they are looking for.” (08:14-08:23) • “I cannot stress how important it is that you learn how to qualify your leads. Because if you don't qualify your leads properly, it is expected that they will ghost you.” (10:20-10:34)  • “Before you send the proposal, you better make sure that they know your fees.” (12:45-12:52) •  “Follow up until you get a no.” (14:58-15:00)   Links Connect with me at: [email protected] Website: events4anyone.com LinkedIn: www.linkedin.com/in/mayyeosilvers Facebook: www.facebook.com/mayyeosilvers IG: www.instagram.com/mayyeosilvers TikTok: https://www.tiktok.com/@mayyeosilvers  FB private group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/events4anyone   Podcast production and show notes provided by HiveCast.fm
