Why I became a Chiropractor

from Super Healthy by Dr. Cary Yurkiw, DC · host Dr. Cary Yurkiw, DC

Hi everyone, Today I wanted to share why I became a Chiropractor.  I grew up in Winnipeg and I was very active in sports as a child. In my early teens, I developed knee pain.   My parents took me to our family doctor, who diagnosed my condition as growing pains. The pain got worse.  And after a couple more visits and the same diagnosis, my father took me to a Chiropractor from our church, Dr. Palaschuk. He was the first one to x-ray my knees.  And then diagnose my condition correctly.  After a few months of treatment, my knees healed. And from that point forward, I wanted to become a Chiropractor and help people the same way. And here I am, over 25 years later, over 10,000 patients were seen and 100,000 adjustments have been performed. I am accepting new patients in Kelowna, click here to book: https://www.drcaryyurkiw.com/appointments
