Why I Got Fat and Decided To Take A 12 Month Break From ALL Dieting

from Let's Just Talk · host Adam Martin

In October of 2021, I had just completed yet another cut where I found myself at a lean 68kg and while I felt I looked great, I felt HORRIBLE! I have spent the past 2 decades flowing in and out of cutting weight, maintaining weight and gaining weight and I was tired of always thinking about the foods I was eating and how much I was eating and all of this had taken its toll. So, I QUIT! I made a conscious effort that I was not going to think about the foods I ate or how much I ate and that I would just enjoy food in every way that I could for the next 12 months. In this episode, I talk in detail about why I did this, how it made me feel and how it affected my life, sleep, recovery and training and go on to talk about what I intend to do next? If you're tired of always being on the diet merry-go-round and wish to get off, then this is the episode for you.
