from Intuitive Wellness · host Intuitive Wellness

In our intro episode, Samara and Lali discuss why they created this podcast and what intuitive wellness means for them and their wellness businesses, Kasai Thrive (IG @kasaithrive) and Mx. Mendoza (IG @mx.mendoza_). Learn more about Samara's Tarot for Justice course: https://www.kasaithrive.com/tarotforjustice Show Notes 1. Lali: “Cause you definitely feel like you're part of the family at that point, like they let you in on the inside jokes, like you're part of a little community, and I think I want that for this podcast too.” (20:44) 2. Lali: “I think we want to prioritize healing, like healing yourself. I think that's the point of the podcast. And I think it's trying to deconstruct what healing is, um, to not necessarily, uh, follow any prescription for what it should look like or what progress looks like, but to really trust yourself in knowing what's the best way to take care of yourself.” (22:10) 3. Samara: “Wellness as a concept and as something that everyone can have access to, and that everyone is on an individual journey with like the pursuit of being well is something that I really wanted to explore in this podcast, like what wellness is. And we talk about, you know, relating to our bodies, relating to our identities and then also being well within the oppressive systems that our world has set up to make us not well and to make us feel like we can't be well. (24:57) 4. Samara: “It's, it's kind of like trusting my body and saying like, my body knows what I have going on and my body wants to support me instead of fighting against it. And that's how I see intuitive wellness playing out in my life. The way that I run my business is through the framework of intuitive wellness.” (29:32) 5. Samara: “Why is this the right place for people who believe healing themselves, activism and how the fact is healing yourself even become activism? What does that even mean?” (36:33) Transcript: https://share.descript.com/view/PLzPe0Ww8iz Form to submit review for your free gifts: https://forms.gle/xzGY74dRUygCNNg38
