Why must we be freed from the law? (021)

Many Christians speak about freedom from law. But they don't often understand why we must be freed from the law. It isn't just something that Christ did for us randomly. We are set free from the law for a very specific and very important reason.It is part of the requirement to be set free from sin so that we can stand in the presence of God.As Christians know well, the thing that stands between man and God is sin. And sin is the breaking of the law, because sin is lawlessness as it says in 1 John 3.So, to effectively and completely remove sin, then we must also be set free from the law.
