There’s a lingering stigma that says you shouldn’t pursue outside interests while on active duty — and I strongly disagree. Pursuing your passions doesn’t distract from your service, it strengthens it. It makes you a better leader, a more balanced human, and ultimately a stronger service member.In this episode of the Why Not Do Both, I sit down with Dr. Corinne Devin, who proves exactly what multi-passionate leadership looks like in action. She shares how she built an exceptional Navy career while continuing to grow in other arenas that matter deeply to her.Dr. Devin is a Navy Commander (now CAPT), orthodontist, public speaker, and dedicated volunteer currently stationed in Japan.
