Hi All,

Now more than ever Americans are wasting thousands of dollars a year on playing the lottery. People are promised riches if they win it, yet it is just an additional tax on the poor and middle class.

There are so many fruitful avenues to invest one's money, why would one waste it in this way? Here are some of the themes I go over about the lottery, and why I think Bitcoin is a better avenue.

- Americans waste millions a year on the lottery
- Poor people are disproportionately impacted by the lottery
- Lotteries are put in places that are not the best communities in terms of money, they get even better sales
- Bitcoin is a lottery in a sense
- $1,000 ten+ years ago would be several tens of millions today
