Do my friends care about the news? Is it weird that I do? ‘Why Should I Care’ is a short audio documentary in which I try to figure out just how much my friends know about news and current affairs, and wonder if we should be worried. Presented by Jack Massey, a final year Journalism student in TU Dublin, who is hopefully about to embark on a career in broadcasting. A simple quiz regarding our politicians, our presidents and the relationships that young people have with news and current affairs helps gain insight into the knowledge and interest of my peers. Should they care more, or am I just a news nerd?
