Tenants are customers. When was the last time you heard this? Probably never. They aren’t seen or treated like them, perhaps this stems from the government's pathetic treatment towards good landlords, this creates a divide between us. We personally feel it, from the laws that are against us… anyway, rant over. They pay the mortgage, and your profit. So, they are like any other customer in any business, except a little trickier as you can’t just get rid of them, and it’s not easy to deal with non-payers. This is why it’s vital you get it right at the start. If you create a great environment, then you will find great tenants who want to look after the space. Right? So, why don’t we think of the TX (Tenant Experience)? Jess is a Leader (get it) at this. It’s at the forefront of her investments, ethos and interior design.
