Why 'Through It' Is The Only Way 'Around It'

from Go Regulate Yourself · host Brianne Roberge

If there has ever been a moment (maybe now?) where it feels like your mind is running ramped with negative thoughts... then this episode is for you. In our conversation today, I am diving into some of the biggest lessons I've learned in the past two years- including what to do when you just can't stop beating yourself up.   In this episode we discuss how to create a separation between you and your thoughts, why numbing or avoiding the pain only leads to the light not being able to get in either, and why putting yourself first is actually the most selfless thing that you can do for your life and the people in it.     Biggest Takeaways You are not your thoughts. There is you, and then there is your thoughts- and they are seperate from you. Viewing them in this way can help you to create distance between them so that you can actually choose how you show up in the world. When you numb or suppress to block the pain, no light can get in either. You can't run away from the pain, grief, envy, guilt or saddness. The only way you can go around it... is by going through it. You're already living your most selfish life by doing everything you can to avoid the pain- so it's time to start living your most selfless life by putting yourself first instead.   Let's dive in, shall we?     The COMING HOME TO YOU 20 week healing program is OFFICIALLY OPEN for enrolment from April 11th - 25th, 2025. If you're ready to shed limitations, heal your nervous system, reprogram your mind and radically transform your life this year... you're going to want to sign up HERE.
