Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us so that our sins would be forgiven so we should offer grace and forgiveness to others. It is not easy to forgive, but we are all imperfect people and deserve forgiveness. Remember just because you forgive someone does not mean that you have to let them back in your life. You can still offer those who have hurt you forgiveness and still have boundaries. Why should you forgive others? God will forgive you when you forgive others. It will release a weight off you. It shows others the love that God has for us. It could bring people back into your life. It could change your life. If a perfect God can forgive you then it is okay to forgive yourself. If you are struggling to forgive someone that has hurt, you or yourself then ask the Lord for guidance. He will help you on your path of forgiveness. Forgiving and letting go can help you to feel lighter and become the person the Lord wants you to be. It is not your burden to carry so let go forgive and let God handle it. Let's Connect!
