How our companies collect and use this data is a golden opportunity to communicate in a timely and appropriate way with our audiences; but done wrongly as Cambridge Analytica found can finish a company. In this age of technology, we also have to consider the findings of Charlotte Kerner & Victoria A. Goodyear (2017) The Motivational Impact of Wearable Healthy Lifestyle Technologies: A Self-determination Perspective on Fitbits With Adolescents Report. I'll share those in this podcast, along with what happened with Governments tried to build trackers outside of the realms of Google Android and Apple IOS. Governments can't access private citizen data without their apps residing on corporate platforms; an uncomfortable lesson for us all.As entrepreneurs, devices which gather data present vast opportunities, so how can we take advantage of these whilst retaining the confidence of our customers?
