Im Gespräch mit WESER-KURIER-Chefreporter Jürgen Hinrichs wirft der Fachmann zunächst auch einen Blick auf Bremen – das für eine Weile als Salafisten-Hochburg galt. Neumann sagt, die Lage habe sich beruhigt, aber verschwunden seien die Islamisten nicht, weder in Bremen noch anderswo. Denn die verstärkte Überwachung durch den Staat habe dazu geführt, dass sich die Aktivitäten der Szene ins Internet verlagerten, wo sich neue Cluster des Terrors bilden können, besonders in den sozialen Medien. Neumann spricht daher von "Tiktok-Terroristen" und warnt vor sich selbst verstärkenden Effekten: Wer im Internet etwa in eine Islamisten-Blase gerät, dem schlägt der Algorithmus mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit immer mehr dieser Inhalte vor – digitaler Nährboden für Extremismus, auch anderer Richtungen.
