As responsible adults, we always try to protect our children. Early on we carry all that responsibility, but as our children grow, we teach them to be alert, to be careful about what they do and where they go, and to be aware of their surroundings. That’s good advice. Unfortunately, because of all the distractions in life, we’re not always alert or aware, causing us to miss important life lessons. This Sunday we’ll look at a couple people in the Bible who if it wasn’t for the grace of God would have missed what they were looking for. Come expecting and you will probably find what you’re hoping for is closer than you realize!
