There may be several reasons God chose to lead Israel through the tough wilderness, but ultimately, the desert was a proving ground for Israel. The challenges of living 40 years in the desert was to refine, and transform them to a People who God could relate to, guide and continue to be called as His own people. The desert experience can be both traumatic and rewarding if we learn from the trials and lesson we are exposed to since God is always present with us, as he did Israel.  In this Episode, Prof Spencer Duncan discuss how God used the desert experience to refine us on our journey to the promised land of eternal life and continual fellowship and relationship with Him.
