Will McCrimmon retain salary in an Adin Hill trade?

The Golden Knights apparently are still trying to shop goalie Adin Hill.  A report that surfaced yesterday said that teams are asking for VGK to retain part of Hill's salary.  Kelly McCrimmon has said in the past that he wouldn't retain salary for any player.  Even though McCrimmon gave Hill a vote of confidence last week, he still is looking for a trade to get some more assets perhaps and the Golden Knights are trying to move up Carl Lindbom from the AHL.  The Golden Knights are also facing another decision with William Karlsson, who like Mark Stone, heads into his contract year.  Karlsson has been injury plagued but still managed nine points with Mitch Marner in the playoffs.  And VGK signed defenseman Lukas Cormier, a depth piece who can contend for playing time in a battle for the seventh defenseman spot.  FANDUEL DISCLAIMER: 21+ in select states.
