This year’s unusual run of conditions is sharpening the case for early nitrogen application. Scientific Officer at Ravensdown Dr Will Talbot joined us on the show, saying that with El Niño, feed volumes could become pinched before lambing. "Spring's a really important time for getting pasture there for ewes so they can have a good body condition score, lactate well, feed those lambs, and they can put weight on as soon as they can.” Spring feed decisions start now, and Ravensdown is here to help you make the best decision for your farm.
