The dream Wimbledon semi-final of Sinner vs Alcaraz is OFF. Jannik Sinner was struck down by sickness but battled on to lose a tightly fought 5 setter against iron man Daniil Medvedev. Medvedev winning another 5 setter and reversing the Australian Open result that left him heartbroken in January. He will face Carlos Alcaraz who just keeps getting better and better. He hit scary heights of form in his 4 set victory over Tommy Paul and the defending Champion is looking like the one to beat at Wimbledon.In the women’s draw the sun set on Lulu Sun’s dream run at the hands of experienced grass courter Donna Vekic. She will face French open Finalist Jasmine Paolini in the first semi-final who demolished Emma Navarro with the loss of just three games.
