The Sanz brothers are strong proponents of biological pest control, employing innovative methods to combat trunk diseases. Following pruning, they diligently sanitize the soils and vines using ozone, while treating them with trichoderma, a rapidly multiplying fungus that effectively prevents potential attacks. Ozone is also utilized throughout the growing cycle as a natural disinfectant against harmful fungi and bacteria.In addition to their groundbreaking agricultural practices, Bodegas Menade has pioneered the concept of "mobile trees." These trees are ingeniously transported on small trailers around their expansive 195-hectare estate, attracting beneficial insects and birds that contribute to the vineyard's ecosystem.
