Wisdom & How to Get It - Llewelyn Hoy

This week as we continued our Growing Wisdom series, Llewelyn explored the question, 'What is wisdom and how do I get it?'He introduced a new facet of wisdom, "know-how", and how in biblical thought, wisdom is related to skill and to the question of 'how?'.Wisdom at its broadest and most profound sense is about how to be human. Reading from Genesis 1-3, we looked at how to be human is to be the image of God and that God is the source of all wisdom.  Llewelyn has left us with the following questions to reflect on this week: What do you think it means to be the image of God? What does it mean for you to be the image of God in your community? What do you do to take God’s wisdom into yourself? What could you do/try? What metaphor have Llewelyn and Beth used that have you found helpful and why? How could that help you become wise?
