Wisdom as the Tree of Life - Beth Hoy

This week Beth launched our new sermon series ‘Growing Wisdom’.Reading from the parable of the wise man and the foolish man in Matthew 7, we leaned into the analogy of a tree with strong roots. Wisdom is like having deep spiritual roots. It allows us to internalise the good things of God and be formed and grown by it, this is how we produce spiritual fruit.In this upcoming series we will be exploring the ‘what, why and how’ of biblical wisdom, and seeking to develop the skill of internalising the things of God so that we might be formed and transformed as we grow in wisdom.
