Wise Up: Keeping God’s Word In Your Heart

Greetings, and may grace, mercy, and peace be multiplied to you. We will be in Proverbs 4 today. There’s so much knowledge in the world, but not much of it is wisdom. What’s the difference? To give an example, knowledge is knowing that a tomato is a fruit. Wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad. If we seek after the knowledge of the world (gnosticism), that won’t have any use in our Christian lives. Only wisdom comes from God, and by reading His word, we can receive wisdom. And when we read His word and have it on our lips, we will be better equipped when the world challenges us. “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28 19-20 Don’t forget to pray for one another, especially during these uncertain times.
