A basic flight plan can help us, as Women of Color in STEM, take a bird's-eye view of our careers. Our careers can be divided into three major phases, which are outlined in the plan: "Take Off," "Cruise," and "Landing." For example, consider the "take off," which includes accelerating and preparatory steps, such as an action plan. Making progress or navigating in the right direction is interpreted as the “cruise." A roadmap is one of the tools that can help us during this phase.
