Women20 AKA the, (W20) is an official G20 engagement group forming a transnational network of women's organizations, female entrepreneurs associations and think tanks. The main goal of Women20 is to promote women's economic empowerment as an integral part of the G20 process. At the beginning of this year, my next guest assumed her role as the W20 Sherpa for the year of Saudi Arabia’s Presidency. Little did she know of course that she was was stepping into this role in the Mother of all years. In this next interview, we discuss the policy focus areas the W20 is actively seeking to change, whether or not women’s rights are at risk of being rolled back, how this pandemic is impacting women around the globe and what we can expect to see in the second half of 2020.
