Vibes are high with the crew after Lexi Pechout and Danika White got invited to the GAME ON Women and Girls in Sport celebration! This event was done with the City of Calgary Mayor Jyoti Gondek to celebrate Women and Girls in Sport on International Women’s Day 2024. Lexi, Danika and Lola one of the SurfinBerms shredders were honoured to represent non-traditional sports, which was motocross, at the event. We’re thankful for all aspects of what our sport has given us, and it was so impactful seeing how we have many similar experiences across all sports with the other 200 women that were at this celebration. This sparked a lot of the conversation into this episode. How do we grow our sport as a whole, it’s not in the Olympics does that matter, forward thinking what’s next, how can we keep growing the female demographic in dirt biking?
