Women Thrive With A Community w Tanya Cole-Lesnick

from Be the CEO of Your Life · host Olga Lacroix

You are interested in coaching or therapy, but you are terrified of doing it in a group setting. Your worst fear is to feel embarrassed, to feel rejected and to expose yourself vulnerable in front of others.   In this episode we break down the myths people have about getting help in a group setting and we highlight why this type of work is far more beneficial than only doing one on one work.   Therapist and life coach Tanya Cole-Lesnick joined me this week in the podcast to share her experience and her findings with regards to how women thrive in a community setting.   If you are sitting on the sidelines wondering if you would ever join any kind of group work, have a listen and draw your own conclusions. Bio for Tanya Cole-Lesnick: Tanya Cole-Lesnick has been a psychotherapist (licensed clinical social worker) and coach since 1995. She received her master’s degree in social work from New York University after group therapy changed her life. She has extensive experience in outpatient hospital mental health, private practice, and wellness center settings. From those experiences over the years she has identified her most important focus—helping people to clear energetic clutter so they can focus on what matters most to them. She does this by helping clients to access and honor their truth, to change habits that don’t serve them, and to heal faulty narratives so that they are living in alignment inside and out. Her work revolves around a combination of intimate therapeutic groups and individual sessions, as the sharing of inner worlds and being human together in a safe space—collectively and individually—is an incredibly powerful combination that leads to lasting transformation.   Website: https://www.tanyacole-lesnick.com/   Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/tanyathetherapist/   Tiktok: https://www.tiktok.com/@tanyathetherapist Three takeaways:   Research shows that women heal faster when they belong to a community of support. Group work is far more effective than one on one sessions. The fear of group work is based on myths your mind believes to be true.   Inspiration: “You could be a source of inspiration to somebody and equally, there could be people in the group that make you think that if they overcame tha, then I can certainly overcome my own thing.”  Helpful Links:   Being the CEO of your life: https://olgasway.com/work-with-me/ceo-of-your-own-life/  Visit my Website: https://olgasway.com  Join my weekly Newsletter: https://olgasway.com/newsletter/  Book a FREE Discovery Call: hhttps://calendly.com/olgasway/discovery-call-15min
