*Eve of World Environment Day - June 5th* Tomorrow is World Environment Day, June 5th. It’s the day the whole world celebrates the environment every year. Today was the eve, so our faculty was busy from morning. We did a rally round the school, picking dirt, sensitizing people, just trying to make our environment cleaner. I took some pictures but they’re with me, I’ll post them tomorrow on the actual day. It was tiring but it felt right - we’re environmental science students, so this day means something to us. Because of the rally and all the prep for tomorrow, they cancelled every lecture in my faculty today. No class at all. I came back to my place around 1pm, dropped my bag, and just slept off. Woke up later, no books, no notes. So I went to play football with the guys to shake off the stress. Running on the field felt good after all that walking round campus in the morning. After football I went for a stroll. The sky was dark with heavy clouds, but it looked beautiful - like one of God’s natural gifts. Those dark scars in the sky made everything feel calm and cool.
