Worth the Cost

Isn't it true that so often in our life we resist certain things even though we know it could make our lives better? Usually they are things like eating healthier and getting more exercise, but it also can be true when it comes to God and keeping Him at the center of our lives. As we look towards celebrating Easter in a few weeks, we are looking at some characters in the Easter story who also resisted God at some point in their lives. As we will learn, saying yes to Jesus and surrendering whatever else is at the center of our lives will always cost us something, despite us often trying to preserve those things at all costs. But saying no to Jesus ultimately costs us so much more.
