But what if overcoming those excuses is the key to a deeper relationship with God? Learn how intentional actions can ignite your faith and lead to the abundant life God has for you.

As parents, mentors, and influencers, most of us are figuring it out as we go. There’s no manual. No map. No guarantee we’ll get it right. So what do we do when we know our own flaws and failures all too well? Is it better to step back—or lean in? In this opening message of Into the Wild, we’ll explore why our imperfections don’t disqualify us from influence, and why the greatest danger may not be getting it wrong, but choosing not to lead at all.

Change is hard. And if real change starts with God working in us through internal spiritual transformation, then what is our part in the process? Do we simply sit back and let God do His work in us, or do we have a responsibility in becoming who He created us to be? We have an incredible opportunity to participate in what God wants to do in our lives.

Where does life change really take place? We all have a version of ourselves we want to be, but our actual selves show up, and we fall short. Even after trying over and over, we end up in a similar place. In this message, the Apostle Paul describes his own frustrations with this in his own life and shows us where real change can be found for anyone who wants it.

We’ve all had those moments—when we were completely convinced we were right… only to discover we weren’t. It’s unsettling. Even a little disorienting. But what if some of our most deeply held assumptions—about God, faith, or even ourselves—are more fragile than we think? And what if the thing God wants to do next doesn’t fit into the categories we’ve always relied on?

We all know what it’s like to dig in—to resist, to hold our ground, to refuse to budge. Sometimes it shows up in small ways. Other times, it keeps us from seeing what’s right in front of us. But what if the greatest barrier between us and what God wants to do isn’t a lack of evidence… but a refusal to move? And what if the thing we’re most resistant to is the very thing that could change everything?

We all feel it—the chaos. Not just out there, but in here. And most of us are trying, in our own way, to manage it… fix it… control it. But what if the more we try to take control, the more we actually add to the chaos? And what if the kind of change we’re hoping for doesn’t start with trying harder—but with something completely different?

Some people see it clearly. Others want to, but can’t. And some have already decided there’s nothing there. When it comes to God, most of us fall into one of those categories. But what if the difference isn’t intelligence or background—but something else entirely? How does a movement built around a crucified man outlast the empire that killed Him? For 2,000 years, the church has endured opposition, division, and cultural change—yet it’s still here. This week, we’ll look at the stories of two people in the Bible as we explore God’s truth when it comes to both our bad choices and learning to forgive ourselves.

It’s easy to carry un-forgiveness when your trust has been betrayed. But you don’t have to keep carrying that pain. Join us this week as we discover how the power of forgiveness can bring freedom and healing.

Following Jesus will inevitably bring us to a “wall”. The wall is a place where our humanity faces its deepest realities; unmet expectations, our past experiences, our dependencies or false assumptions. For some the wall becomes a stumbling block to growing in faith. For others it becomes the transition to an authentic life. What will you do when you hit the “wall”?

All of us are somewhere on a faith journey. Recognizing where you are in your faith story helps bring clarity to the next step you need to take and with whom you need to take it. In this message we are invited to take inventory of where we are in our stage of faith and challenged to move to the next step.

Everyone loves a good story. From introduction to final sentence, every good story is filled with moments of discovery, learning, shifting, distress and victory...or even defeat. Your life is a story being written. What's your story like right now? What do you hope it will be? One thing is for certain, the place where we end up with be determined by the choices we make and the people with whom we share our story. In this message we will explore Jesus' invitation to take the lead of our story and change the outcome.  

It’s easy to point at the world and name what’s evil. But what if the real danger isn’t just the evil “out there,” but the evil that lives within us? In a culture quick to blame and slow to forgive, Jesus calls us to something radical—His Kingdom breaking into the world through forgiveness, grace, and love. What if overcoming evil starts not with fighting harder, but with surrendering deeper?

There’s something inside each of us that wonders and worries about what the future will hold. Some of our concerns about tomorrow are so personal that we don’t even like to talk about them with anyone—not even God. But even in the midst of our “what ifs” and “who knows,” God has a plan and wants to speak into the scary stories we tell ourselves, especially the ones that keep us up at night.

Fear has a way of growing up with us. As kids, it lived in the shadows under our beds—but as adults, it lives in the shadows of our minds. We tell ourselves stories about what mighthappen, and before long, anxiety takes control. What if peace isn’t found in having control at all—but in trusting the One who already has it?

We’ve all got skeletons in our closets—moments we regret, choices we wish we could undo, and memories that keep creeping back like a jump scare we didn’t see coming. Left unchecked, those regrets can become the scary stories we tell ourselves: “I’ll never move on… I’ll never be free… I’ll always be defined by my past.” But what if Jesus wants to rewrite your story into something brand new?

There are times when life leaves us secretly wondering, ‘Where is God?’ or ‘Is God fair?’ or even ‘Is God good?’ These questions come to us all and can keep us—or those we care about—at arm’s length from engaging with Jesus. It’s easy to start strong when the vision is fresh and the excitement is high. But what happens when the opposition gets loud, the obstacles feel overwhelming, and distractions pull at your attention? In those moments, the temptation is to quit. What if the real difference between a forgotten story and an “Only God” story is the courage to persevere when it would be easier to walk away?

Some problems feel so overwhelming that it’s tempting to just walk away. The needs are too big, the mess is too great, and the little we can offer feels like it won’t matter. But what if that’s exactly where God invites us to step in? What if your willingness to play a part is the difference between despair and hope, between brokenness and rebuilding, between giving up and seeing what only God can do?

Every great story has a turning point—the moment when everything changes. The same is true in our lives. We face moments when it would be easier to retreat to safety, yet God is inviting us to step forward in faith. What if the very tension you’re feeling is the place where God wants to transform your life and show you what only He can do?

Some days start out ordinary and end up changing everything. A phone call, a diagnosis, an opportunity—or even a heartbreak—can shift the entire direction of your life. The question is: when those moments come, whose kingdom are you really building? What if God is inviting you into a story so much bigger than yourself—one that can only be explained by Him?

Life has a way of pulling us off course. The magnetic pull of our world is strong. When life gets this way...and it does for all of us, knowing there is a guide, a good shepherd to bring us back fully to the life we were created to live. 

It’s possible to follow God closely and still miss what He’s doing right in front of you. Sometimes the hardest part of following Him is letting go of what we think we know so we can embrace what He’s actually doing. What if God’s purpose is far bigger than your perspective—and He’s inviting you to see what you’ve been missing?

As we face battles, God is not absent nor uninterested. In this message we will discover a peek into the unseen and supernatural that leads us to pray and live differently.

"They had that coming." "Looks like they got what they deserved". How many times have we said (or at least thought) phrases like that in our lives? There is something inside all of us that wants to see justice and consequences, well at least when it comes to everyone but ourselves. This week we take a look at probably one of the best known stories from the OT as we also discuss our less than graceful approach to world events and those around us.
