WQA Radio #148 Kelly Reynolds

from The WQA Podcast · host Water Quality Association

Our guest is Dr. Kelly Reynolds, talking about the Household Point of Use Pathogen study funded by the Water Quality Research Foundation, WQRF. In this episode, Dr. Reynolds summarizes and then answers questions about her POU Pathogen study during a recent “In the Know” WQRF webinar. The results of the study indicated that household water treatment filters can be used for large volume monitoring of drinking water quality at the point-of-use, but that retention of introduced pathogens on the tested filter is low and may still underestimate risk. Plus, we’ll have our WQA Tip.
