Recipie: -Made a drum track and tuned it so it sounded a little more boomy. -Wrote a simple 8 bar piano loop, with a few chords (Using a push controller, which i can play almost as well as i play keyboards: I can't play keyboards) -Made a variation of the piano loop to sound a little more 'jazzy' -Added huge chunks of other noises with attempts at more imaginative melodies, chords, syncopation, to redude repitition. -Deleted the previous step. -Found a nice guitar sample that I liked the texture of and used it as the input to a vocoder with a synth-brass sound running through it. -Recorded and over dubbed a 2 bar loop with the above device. -Created a couple of bits of effects kind of noises. -Found a royalty free vocal sample I'd downloaded yonks ago. -arranged it into some kind of order -tweaked noises -deleted bits -repeated last few steps
