AboutSeth Voorhees is a Black Hills author who lives in Rapid City, South Dakota. He loves to dabble in dark fiction, suspense, and horror, whether in his writing, reading, or in movies and television shows he watches. Beyond horror, he loves history: Europe, World War II, the Old West, nautical adventures, and tales of shipwreck and survival. Seth currently has four published novels: The Interim, Immune–Rise of the Inflicted, Mid-Glow, and Question 17. He draws on his experience as a counselor and educator in adolescent development and mental health to shape his characters and their journeys through moral and life's challenges. When he’s not writing or reading, he is a shore fisherman, goes on hikes around the hills, walks in the park with his family, or entertains their rabbit, Snowball. He is employed at a non-profit as an evidence-based curriculum educator and trainer, serving youth ages 10-19 who are homeless, living in residential settings, in schools, or in foster care. His work takes him all over the state and across the country.He earned a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and Psychology from Black Hills State University. He lives with his partner and stepdaughter.
