WWE Actually Nailed It! | Saturday Night's Main Event Review

from Wrestle Chop: WWE Wrestling Podcast

WWE Saturday Night's Main Event actually surprised me. I went into this show expecting to be disappointed, but instead I had a really good time from start to finish. This is my one-take, one-shot review with my honest thoughts immediately after the show. From the huge tag team main event featuring CM Punk & Cody Rhodes against Gunther & Sami Zayn, to Danhausen's wild No DQ match with JD McDonagh, Lyra Valkyria vs. Bayley, and the Women's Tag Team Championship changing hands, this show kept me entertained. Even the celebrity appearances from Karl-Anthony Towns and Jalen Brunson added to the Madison Square Garden atmosphere heading into SummerSlam. I do have a few criticisms—especially about how the closing Roman Reigns and Jalen Brunson segment was presented—but overall I thought WWE delivered one of its most enjoyable Saturday Night's Main Event specials in a long time. Let me know your grade for the show and whether you agree or disagree with my review! #WWE #SaturdayNightsMainEvent #RomanReigns #CMPunk #romanreigns For business related inquiries contact me at: [email protected]
