part 3 of 3 Getting Color Commentary Father Lloyd, Derrick and BT review WWE Friday Night SMACKDOWN from 5/1/26 Cody Rhodes kicked off the show by announcing he was medically cleared; however, he was interrupted by Ricky Saints, who made his SmackDown debut. The two agreed to a match later tonight.Jacy Jayne (w/ Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) def. Charlotte Flair (w/ Alexa Bliss).Rhea Ripley made the save.Brie Bella & Paige were interviewed, saying they would focus on the Irresistible Forces tonight.Damian Priest gave a title shot against Fraxiom for tonight.The Miz & Kit Wilson’s prank on Danhausen fell apart.WWE Tag Team Championship: Wepa Up (R-Truth & Damian Priest) (c) def. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazier & Axiom) to retain the titles.MFT attacked Wepa Up after the match.The Usos interrupted Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga. The Usos told MFT to leave Jacob Fatu alone until Roman was done with him; however, MFT laid out The Usos, with Sikoa saying Roman Reigns was not his Tribal Chief.Cody Rhodes def. Ricky Saints.GUNTHER choked out Rhodes after the match.The Miz offered to be Danhausen’s mentor after weeks of shame. Danhausen accepted, but this was all a trap. Kit Wilson & The Miz laid out Danhausen.Royce Keys def. Ángel Garza (w/ Berto).Sami Zayn appeared for a promo with Gingerbread Man. Zayn then proceeded to hit a low blow right in the Cookie’s penis before Trick Williams made the save.Backstage, Trick Williams vowed to whoop Zayn. It was announced that Gingerbread Man had died.WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship Match: Paige & Brie Bella (c) def. Irresistible Forces (Nia Jax & Lash Legend) to retain the titles.Danhausen demanded a match against Adam Pearce and The Miz & Kit Wilson. It was granted, but Aldis told Danhausen he needed to get a partner.MFT (Solo Sikoa & Talla Tonga) def. The Usos (Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) via Disqualification.Jacob Fatu laid out MFT after the match.Roman Reigns appeared in the venue to confront Jacob Fatu; however, Adam Pearce told Reigns that Fatu was not there yet. Seth Rollins had a brief staredown with Reigns.Bron Breakker blasted Seth Rollins with a spear before he was restrained by an army of security guards.Judgment Day confronted Roxanne Perez backstage regarding Finn Balor appearing on the Club House. Perez explained she told Balor to get out of the Club House and vowed to no longer keep any secrets from Judgment Day.JD McDonagh (w/ Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez, Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan) def. Finn Balor.Los Americanos (Rayo, Bravo & El Grande Americano) called out American Made.Logan Paul told The Vision they wanted to face Joe Hendry tonight; however, Paul Heyman said it would be Austin Theory vs. Joe Hendry.Rusev & Ethan Page def. Je’Von Evans & Penta.JD McDonagh & Dominik Mysterio were interviewed by Byron Saxton, saying Judgment Day is more united than ever.Adam Pearce hosted Sol Ruca’s contract singing; however, she was interrupted by Becky Lynch. Lynch took great offense at Ruca talking to Lynch in a tone. Ruca then declared to Lynch that she would snatch Lynch’s soul if she ever interrupted her again. After Lynch accidentally hit Adam Pearce, Ruca hit a Sol Snatcher on Lynch.Oba Femi def Otis (w/ Tozawa).Iyo Sky & Asuka had a sit-down interview previewing their match at WWE BacklashRoman Reigns & Jacob Fatu had a contract segment in the main event. Reigns understood Fatu’s frustrations but told him he needed to control his conduct, stating he could not use the Tongan Death Grip on the Tribal Chief. Fatu said he had no other choice but to take everything from Reigns. and vowed to put a chokehold on the game going forward. Fatu said he was desperate to run through anyone for his household, which bamboozled Reigns. Reigns was doing business for everyone in his family unit, which is why Fatu was beneath him inside the ring. Fatu & Reigns then went at it before Fatu locked in the Tongan Death Grip.
