Xander Szymanski, Head Brewer at Monkey 9 Brewing - Richmond, British Columbia

I met up with a craft beer industry friend in a Vancouver park for a chat. Xander Szymanski is the Head Brewer of Monkey 9 Brewing in Richmond, British Columbia. Located on the traditional unceded territories of the Tsawwassen and Musqueum. We talk about how Xander got into brewing craft beer, some previous places he's worked and a brewery project of his own he started. Monkey 9 Brewing open their doors in 2017.
