יד ניסן Hayom Yom In the Rebbe Rashab’s home. They didn’t appoint a rabbi as an agent to sell the chametz. Instead, they would sell the chametz directly to the rabbi, with a third person acting as a guarantor. And the Rebbe Rashab himself was personally involved in preparing for Pesach. On Erev Pesach afternoon, he would oversee the baking of the sh’mura matzah. While it was happening, he would say Hallel but even in the middle of a chapter, he would pause to give instructions about the kneading and baking. On Sukkot, we take the lulav (palm branch) together with the hadassim ,aravot, and etrog, and rejoice before Hashem 🤍 In the times of the Beit Hamikdash, this mitzvah was done all seven days. Today, outside the Beit Hamikdash it’s a Torah obligation only on the first day. Short bite in the pod about pesach.
