I was blessed to have had the privilege to serve along side the best our Nation has to offer in the way of brave men and women who served with honor.However, there are parts of my past I'm not so proud of, but do make for a good story looking back. Yes sir, I was indeed a Sailor to the core, and when it came to drinking and chasing skirts,..... I could do so with the best of them. Some folks may call it sewing oats, others may call it living dangerously. Whatever the case, it was fun while it lasted, and I thank God I survived.Never in all my dreams did I ever envision Jerry Daniels from Butler Georgia would find himself sitting in a police station is some distance small town in Germany having to repeatedly explain how I have this woman's purse, passport, military ID Card and other belongings, and she's nowhere to be found. It was along night to say the least.Thanks to Tony Novak I got out of Spain and ran off to Lajes Portugal to lay low for a few months.
